Before anything else, it is necessary to set the record straight on some erroneous niche marketing beliefs.

You do not have to be an expert in the Niche field you choose!

The general assumption that you have to be thoroughly knowledgeable in a Niche is fallacious.

In the internet you do not conduct business in person, but more by impression and you can convey the impression that you a person who knows what he is talking about. The operative word is perception. In what way? You can outsource, build niche sites with no interaction such as blogs, purchase, resale, rights to an ebook in a particular niche. You see, you can choose to profit from any niche you like.

Niche markets should be created one at a time.

False. Once you establish yourself in one niche and develop a profitable system, choose another one and run with it. You can establish several niches under different names as you may deem fit.

It is a matter of numbers in the niche market business. Once you find a profitable niche put it on auto-pilot and choose another niche market to get into.

A niche market will be more viable if you operate as an associate or affiliate.

Another fallacy. Sure, becoming an affiliate and promoting niche products can be very profitable, but if you are doing this, you’re not maximizing your income.

You will be presented with greater earning potential if you have your own squeeze page from where you can send visitors to the applicable niche product of your choice. Through an e-mail course, you can send promotional materials and information regarding your niche market so as to earn the visitors’ confidence. Since your subscriber now trusts you, you can recommend products in that niche again and again, knowing your recommendation holds a lot of weight.

Cited above are three of the several wrong assumptions by people in the niche market business. The discussions should give you a better insight and appreciation of the niche market business. The most important lesson is to establish a promising niche and go on to the next once it generates revenue. Not all niche markets will be a slam dunk, so don’t get discouraged.
